FAQ’s

Where is DiDa Rubber material manufactured?

We use the world's top latex raw materials, the brand is TVRTEX, from Thailand and Malaysia, generally used to make the best condoms and medical gloves. Then combined with our own developed latex sheet production machine, we can produce sophisticated and beautiful latex sheets suitable for latex clothing.

How did DiDa Rubber come about?

After importing latex raw materials from Malaysia and Thailand, it needs to go through a series of complex operations as follows to obtain the final latex sheet:

In this production process, we do not add any other chemical substances (many manufacturers like to add some additives to make latex quick-form or reduce the content of latex, resulting in changes in latex molecules, resulting in easy tearing and rough graininess), so as to ensure every meter of our latex sheets can keep the soul of the most original rubber tree sap, environmentally friendly, harmless, vegetarian and soft.

Specially, we need to introduce our machine for producing latex sheets. This is our self-developed assembly line machine. It fully adopts today's advanced energy-saving and environmental protection new technology and new methods. Energy-saving and water-saving measures are adopted to ensure that the produced latex sheet has the characteristics of environmental protection, tear resistance, high brightness and high toughness. Trust me, you will have the highest quality sheeting made by us for all of your needs.

Is DiDa Rubber safe to wear / touch for long time? What if I have an allergy?

We use latex sheet made of natural latex, usually it is an environmentally friendly, green and non-toxic material. The latex sheets we produce are currently not only used to make clothes, but also used in medical oral and other fitness products, which results in our products must meet the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and many other international medical standards.

People who know they are susceptible to latex allergies should avoid contact with latex, be aware that not just Dida Rubber, you need to stop contacting any latex product of any brand. In the event of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical advice.

What is a latex allergy?

Basically, we humans are more or less allergic to a certain substance, and the protein contained in natural rubber latex (NRL) is also an allergen for a very small number of people.

People allergic to NRL are not only allergic to latex sheets, but also to latex products that we see everywhere in our daily life, such as condoms, rubber bands, balloons, surgical and examination gloves, clothing elastics, etc. These people have specific antibodies, called IgE antibodies, that make them allergic to proteins in the NRL.

When we produce the latex sheets, we have repeatedly used soaking and filter washing to remove the protein in the latex sheets as much as possible, however, we still cannot guarantee that you will not be allergic to our latex sheets. If you are allergic to condoms, rubber bands and balloons in your life, please simply try our sheets to see if you have the same allergy symptoms, our sheets have a very low protein content than other rubbers, which should probably save you from allergies.

Besides the latex mold products, can you make latex clothes yourself?

We know a lot about latex clothing and this industry, and our latex sheets come out to make better latex clothing, so we are very familiar with the making of latex clothing (including cutting, gluing, cleaning and maintenance etc). But we have no intention to enter this industry at the moment, just want to focus on producing the best latex sheet, fitness products and latex mold products, which is also our goals for the current few years.

At present, we only show a few self-made latex clothes on the website. If you are a latex clothing manufacturer, maybe we can discuss cooperation and make progress together.

How is the quality of your fitness products and mold products compared to your latex sheets?

Actually, latex fitness products also belong to mold products, that we know too much about them, and we also deeply know that many mold products on the market are of very poor quality, because in the production process, in order to reduce costs, too many impurities and coagulants are added, and the entire production process will not follow the complete process flow (in order to save time), but each of our steps must be carried out on time and according to the quantity, such as rotary demoulding and drying, we all need about 4-6 hours to complete, and many companies will The drying process is simply omitted.

Therefore, you can get the same quality as our sheets for the mold products here, and more importantly, our mold products can have a wide variety of colors, and there is almost no color difference with the sheets.

For your latex sheets, what is the thickness you can make and How to choose?

According to our latex technology formula and machine production process, the thickness of the latex sheets we produce ranges from 0.2mm to 1.5mm, which is enough for most applications in the latex industry. And 1.5mm is the maximum thickness of the infinite length latex sheet produced by the machine in the world.

Generally speaking, the thinner latex sheets, the stronger the elasticity and elasticity, the easier it fits the body shape without constricting it; the thicker latex sheets, the stronger the latex texture, but the elasticity will be relatively smaller. There is also no definite answer for what thickness for latex suits. It is common for latex clothing to have material thicknesses between 0, 25mm and 1,5mm, and even significantly thicker in exceptional cases (e.g. for a belt).

Therefore, a 0.25mm catsuit can be ideal for a photo shoot, but a 0.44mm is preferable for whoever wishes to wear it more often without wanting to handle it with excessive care. A thickness of 0.6mm for a tight suit is already very sturdy and shapes the body. This can offer great wearing feeling with a well-fitting cut. I can also be tweaked if the cut does not fit exactly.  For other clothing (coat, jeans, shirt) a slightly thicker material of 0.6mm or more is often useful because the shape crumples less., but in general, we recommend choosing your preference based on the thickness table below:

The price will change with the thickness, if you are only ordering in small quantities (order not more than 3000 US dollars or 300 meters), you can order directly on our website and see the price change with different thicknesses. If you are ordering in bulk, please contact us by email (hi@didarubber.com) first, and we will provide a more suitable quotation or discount for you.

Please note, we do advise there may be a 10% tolerance above and below the thickness advised.

How about your latex sheets length and width?

Our standard roll/sheeting width is 110cm, which is probably the widest width produced by machine technology in the world. This width would be more suitable for latex clothing production than today's popular 92cm or 100cm.

In theory, we can produce latex sheets of unlimited length, but this is not good for packaging and is not suitable for transportation, so we generally cut the sheet every 10 meters for packaging.

Therefore, the length of each roll of sheet you receive from us is fixed, about 1000 cm (length) * 110 cm (width), and each roll of sheet will be repackaged with black plastic bag to avoid direct sunlight, and has the function of dustproof and moistureproof.

Tip: For bulk orders (more than 5000 USD or 500 meters), we can also provide other lengths and widths packing, such as 2000cm long and 100cm wide per roll.

Can I get a custom colour for your latex sheets?

We are able to manufacture custom colours, but MOQs will vary dependant on the colour and thickness you require. We manufacture this based on our minimum liquid batch, which will vary on thickness and width as to how much material this will produce. Please email us with your requirements and we can advise if we are able to do this and arrange a quote accordingly. We will start by arranging a small colour sample and once this is approved, lead time is approx 6-8 weeks.

Please note our MOQ for custom colour order is at least 200 meters, but these can be in different weights, e.g. 50 metres in 0.20mm, 100 metres in 0.40mm and 50 metres in 0.60mm.

Do you accept small orders for latex sheets?

We accept small orders, but the MOQ is at least 10 meters, which is the length of one of our rolls of sheet.

If it is color customized order, our MOQ is 200 meters, but these can be in different weights, e.g. 50 metres in 0.20mm, 100 metres in 0.40mm and 50 metres in 0.60mm.

Can the color of latex sheets be the same across batches?

In addition to fixed common colors such as black, red, yellow, pink, blue, etc., we can keep the colors basically the same between different batches. But for some colors that are not commonly used and need to be formulated every production, we can only try to keep the color consistent, which is caused by the nature of the raw latex and the way of mixing the color of manufacture, even the best latex raw material company in the world is also no guarantee that different batches of stock solution are exactly the same composition, so please understand and accept the slight color error of different batches.

What payment methods do you accept?

For small batch orders, you can place an order and pay directly on our website, and the payment methods include Paypal, Pay Later and Paypal supported Credit Card payment.

For bulk orders, payment methods include Paypal or T/T.

What cleaning and polish product should I use for latex sheets?

Unfortunately, it's very common to use the wrong care products because you don't have the right stuff on hand, and mistakenly assume that other lubes or brighteners will work with latex, be extra careful as unprofessional oils can damage latex, unfixable. For example, baby oils, skin creams or fats can seep into the material and break it down. First, it becomes wavy, then it becomes very soft, and often ends up in what is called latex cancer, in which it becomes brittle and breaks. So please don't save at the wrong end...

We recommend products such as Vivishine or BeGloss for your cleaning and polishing needs.

What is chlorination and Do you provide chlorination service?

The latex sheets we produce have an attractive sheen that shines even without the use of brighteners. But the friction of the latex sheet itself is very high, and it is difficult for us to wear a tight catsuit without lubricating oil or talcum powder. At this time, a special way of treating the surface of the sheets is produced: chlorination.

By chlorinating latex, the surface is chemically etched and permanently changed. As a result, the material appears rather silky matt to silky shiny and is somewhat less elastic. The surface does not stick together, but rather glides like nylon.

Another important feature of chlorinated latex is that it can no longer be glued again or can only by intensive pretreatment. This can be a disadvantage even with a small repair.

For making latex clothing, what glue should I use with DiDa Rubber?

After testing, DiDa Rubber is same as other brands of latex sheets those can be stuck with most glues suitable for latex. These include white latex-based glues, as well as solvent-based glues. Sadly, we can make this glue but we can't export it because the liquid is not exportable in China.

Can I get labels or logos printed on DiDa Rubber?

Yes, we offer the service of printing logo on latex sheets. But the premise is that your logo is simple enough and the color is relatively small (no more than 2 colors), then we can make clothes labels for you, and then you only need to stick the labels on your own clothes to use.

MOQ is 200 pieces.

The fee charged depends on the complexity of the logo and the size of the label, so please contact us by email (hi@didarubber.com) to inquire about the price.
